I posted Wednesday about the Kickstarter for Pootie Pads launched earlier this month by Sara R and winglion, to change their hobby business into a real business which can support them. I got some great feedback from community members, you should go read some of the wonderful things people said about Sara and Ann and Pootie Pads in that story.
Today, I want to ask you all to help us kick their Kickstarter up a notch, so that they will be successful and fully-funded by their deadline of October 7th, 2016.
NEWSAny story which is getting shared around the Internet can become News. I’d love for this Good News story to have a happy ending — and that means we need MORE EYES to read it, and soon.That deadline of Oct 7th is only 13 days away and they are still only about 20% funded. Help us please to SPREAD THE WORD.
If we can create just one day of interest on social media, those shares will turn the Pootie Pads story into News.

On Sunday I would dearly love to see the REC LIST without a single title with the name TRUMP in it. Instead, how about we fill that REC LIST with stories with titles that all have Sara R, winglion, Pootie Pads and Kickstarter in them?
Can we do this? I know we can. We’ve done it before. Commandeered the REC LIST.
When the Daily Kos Community decides to do something, they DO IT.

Sara and Ann thank each and every one of you who has already shared their story or sponsored the Pootie Pads Kickstarter. They are deeply touched by the kind and thoughtful words written about them in the comments of these stories.
But what they both want more than anything in the world is to become self-reliant and even moreso — one of Sara’s biggest wishes is that they are successfully funded via Kickstarter so that they can really grow the Pootie Pads business enough to start employing some other folks to help them meet demand for their product!
